In silver, center appliqu in Gold and enamels, measuring 90mm x 90mm, of superb quality manufacture, in extremely fine condition. Unmarked star, but only maker of this insignia was Ludwig Bertsch, Karlsruhe (Nimmergut); of highest rarity, and according to Nimmergut only 3 awarded.
