A Reichsnährstand Hesse-Nassau Meritorious Sheep Breeding Medal consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac two 25th Independence Anniversary Medals(Reichsnhrstand Medaille). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of a sheep, the reverse bearing a central raised Reichsnhrstand insignia, circumscribed by an inscription of REICHSNHRSTAND LANDESBAUERNSCHAFT HESSEN NASSAU, unmarked, measuring 38 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
