Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a central oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by crossed swords, topped by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, flanked on each side by six oak leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and fluted horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, designer marked PEEKHAUS, BERLIN and maker marked SCHWERIN, BERLIN, measuring 76. 55 mm (w) x
