A Battle of Camarón Centenary Commemorative Plaque Auction above an inscription of “WEHRMANN”Constructed of a black plastic base, the obverse bearing a two piece gilded replica of the Commemorative Medal of the Mexican Expedition, surrounded by a gilt dedication from the Foreign Legion for the centenary of the Battle of Camarn (1863 1963), the reverse insert with a suspension hook, unmarked, measuring 10. 5 cm (w) x 7. 5 cm (h), demonstrating some scratching throughout, a scarce example commemorating a pivotal battle in the history of the
