Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Mint S-Boat War Badge, Second Pattern, by Rudolf Souval, c. 1943 Republic of set within a ribbed ring(Schnellboot Kriegsabzeichen). Instituted May 30th, 1941. Constructed of gilded and patinated zinc, the obverse consisting of an oval oak wreath joined together at the base by a ribbon, topped by a Kriegsmarine style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, with a central depiction of an E Boat cutting through waves, with its bow extending beyond the left edge of the wreath and with waves of displaced water extending beyond the right edge of
