Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, obverse with central NSDAP style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, on top of crossed hammers, reverse with raised inscription FR VERDIENSTE IM GRUBENWEHRWESEN (FOR SERVICE IN MINING RESCUE), measuring 35. 09 mm in diameter, and in good condition.
