Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, with a central Maltese Cross with ribbed arms, bearing a swastika circumscribed by an inscription of SCHLAGETER GEDCHTNIS BUND E. V., on top of an oval ring with inscriptions of ALBERT LEO SCHLAGETER and 26. MAI 1923 1933, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, with an issue number of 139,
