Serbia, Kingdom. A Rare Order of the Karađorđe’s Star, III Class, with Swords and 2nd. Award, c.1917 Auction Archive with a handwritten inscription on(Orden Karaoreve Zvezde). Instituted on April 15th, 1904. (c. 1917 issue). Military Division. Unmarked but typical Bertrand, Paris construction, of gilded silver and multi coloured enamels, consisting of a white enameled Cross Patte with rays in the quadrants between the arms of the cross as well as crossed swords, the obverse with a central blue enameled medallion bearing a white enameled Serbian Cross, surrounded by a broad white enameled ring
