A Crash Helmet Eagle Emblem, First Pattern consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac 17 October 1943)(Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Sturzhelm Adler 1. Modell). Constructed of silvered brass, the obverse consisting of a first pattern National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK) style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse retaining three sets of butterfly style attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 125 mm (w) x 90 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
