Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse retaining one of two rivets, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a rounded catch, maker marked G. H. OSANG, DRESDEN, measuring 43. 18 mm (w) x 53. 95 mm (h), weighing 35. 0 grams, the eagle
