An oval badge constructed of gilded fine zinc, the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre bearing a mobile swastika, superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom, the reverse with a vertical pinback, maker marked 30 for Hauptmnzamt, Wien, measuring 36. 32 mm (w) x 43. 63 mm (h), weighing 25. 4 grams, and in near very fine condition.
