Germany, HJ. A National Trade Competition Victor’s Badge, Bronze Grade, by Hermann Aurich United Republic of An Iron Cross Second Class(Ehrenzeichen Kreissieger im Reichsberufswettkampf 1939). Constructed of bronze with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath surrounding a white enameled disc, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cogwheel defaced by an enameled HJ insignia, topped by an inscription of KREISSIEGER and flanked by a date of 1939, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and flattened vertical pinback meeting a flat wire
