Constructed of gilded and silvered cupal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a two visible flattened rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the
