Germany, Imperial. A Hanseatic Cross, Bremen Issue Auction 2nd Class with Swords (silvered(Hanseatenkreuz Bremen). Instituted 1915. (1915 1918 issue). Constructed of silvered copper with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with red enameled arms, with a red enameled centrepiece bearing a silvered Bremen coat of arms, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of FR VERDIENST IM KRIEGE 1914 (FOR MERIT IN WAR 1914), unmarked, measuring 41. 06 mm (w) x
