Hybrid with origins in South East Asia. Cross between Alocasia odora & Alocasia reginula (Black Velvet). Popularly cultivated in Africa. Leaf undersides are deep red to maroon with contrasting lime veining. Growth pattern: Tuberous & bushes outwards Water: Little and often. Keep moist but not waterlogged. Ideal Position: East
