A German Red Cross (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz) Officer’s Dagger With Portepee Newly Listed 1899 in FranklinThis dagger features a diamond shaped, unmarked, 248 mm nickel plated magnetic steel blade, with sharpened edges, remaining bright and crisp, and having a very sharp tip. It retains its crossgraining, in addition to mild scratches overall, common to extraction and return to the scabbard, along with a natural shine, scattered wear marks evident on the blade, better than very fine.
