Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Narvik Shield Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic measuring 60 mm (w) x(Kriegsmarine Narvikschild). Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a raised propeller, anchor, and edelweiss, representing the Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, and Gebirgsjger, respectively, flanked by a date of 1940, and topped by an inscription of NARVIK and Heer style German national eagle perched on top of a wreathed swastika, affixed with all four reverse attachment prongs to a zink backplate with a dark navy blue wool
