Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a raised Saxon coat of arms topped by a royal crown, circumscribed by an inscription of GEMEINDE UND POLIZEI DIENER (COMMUNITY AND POLICE SERVANT), above a name of GROFSROMSTEDT, the reverse with three visible rivets holding the obverse features in place, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 67 mm (w) x 104 mm (h), in
