Workcover / Third Party Patients

If your condition is subject to a WorkCover/Third Party insurance claim, please provide your A/Prof Hansen referral to his Neurosurgical Outpatients Clinic, Royal Newcastle Centre, John Hunter Hospital where A/Prof Hansen consults each week. Appointments are booked by provision of referral and Spine Clinic Form to the Referral Management Centre at John Hunter Hospital:

Incoming referrals are assessed and prioritised according to urgency and you will contacted about your allocated appointment directly from the hospital.

Surgery

WorkCover/Third Party patients who are offered elective surgery will be added to A/Prof Hansen’s surgery waitlist at John Hunter Hospital. Accounts for approved Workcover/Third Party patients will be forwarded to your insurer for payment.
